Codename of FOXHOUND's 1999 infiltration of Zanzibarland following the abduction of OILIX inventor Dr. Kio Marv. Selected based on his success in his solo infiltration mission to suppress the Outer Heaven Uprising, Solid Snake once again goes in alone, his objectives to neutralize the threat posed by Zanzibarland and secure the safety of Dr. Marv.

Deployed under new commander Roy Campbell, Snake was outfitted with FOXHOUND's latest technology, a motion-sensing radar. FOXHOUND survival instructor Master Miller, Zanzibarland wildlife expert Johan Jacobsen, and military informant George Kessler provided additional support in the field.
