Worm Cluster
02
GW's security system employed a foreign object-removal mechanism patterned after immune responses found in nature. Inside the system were a number of foreign object detection agents that conducted periodic patrols and monitored the entire system at all times. When these agents discovered a foreign object, they would notify an antibody production system. This system would then produce programs called antibody agents to neutralize and eliminate the foreign object.
However, the worm cluster, patterned after FOXDIE, mimicked the data packets that comprised GW, thereby preventing the foreign object detection agents from recognizing the virus and allowing it to penetrate the bit-brain barrier.
