SEALs

01

An elite Special Operations Force of the United States Navy. It is the most historically active special force in the United States military. It was established in 1962 during the Vietnam War, following in the footsteps of the Underwater Demolition Teams that were active during World War II. The name "SEAL" comes from the acronym for "Sea, Air, and Land". Its duties include reconnaissance, surveillance, and unconventional warfare in any environment. Its most famous operations include the reconnaissance of Cuba during the Cuban Missile Crisis, participation in Operation Phoenix during the Vietnam War, and diversionary campaigns against the Iraqi army during the Gulf War. The force is currently organized into eight teams across two groups, and is deployed all over the world.

In response to the Big Shell Incident in 2009, the US military deployed SEAL Team 10 to the site, with the mission of rescuing the President and eliminating Dead Cell and the Sons of Liberty. However, Team 10 was wiped out by Dead Cell.
