Richard Ames

Secret Service agent who accompanied President James Johnson during the inspection of the Big Shell.

There, he was taken hostage alongside the president by the Sons of Liberty.

In truth, he was not a member of the Secret Service, under the Department of Homeland Security, but a colonel with the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency).

His reason for going to the Big Shell with President Johnson was to monitor his anti-Patriot actions. Revolver Ocelot, acting under Patriot orders, manipulated the nanomachines within Ames to stop his pacemaker, leading to his death from heart failure.
