Raiden

Raiden eventually recovered the memory of his past, previously erased by Solidus Snake, the man behind the Big Shell takeover.

Raiden was a child soldier without a past, absent from the databases of the NSA, CIA, and FBI.

In the 1980s, Raiden (Jack) fought in the Liberian civil war under Solidus Snake as a killing machine known alternatively as the "White Devil" and "Jack the Ripper". Armed with a gun at the age of six, he proved a superior soldier, rising to become captain of the Small Boys Unit at ten.

Raiden actively sought to forget his past, and never mentioned it to his girlfriend, Rose.
