Solid Snake and his comrades assaulted Outer Haven in order to upload FOXALIVE into GW. Naomi's program destroyed not only GW, but also JD, the Patriots' main neuro-AI. A video Naomi had set to play after the destruction of the Patriots' AI network appears before a dumbfounded Otacon. Naomi's objective was to atone for the sins she had committed in the course of her research. The Patriots' network utilized FOXDIE's genetic targeting program, and Naomi felt partly responsible for their increasingly powerful grip on the world. She thanks Hal for showing her the joy of living again, despite how short it lasted, and with that, Naomi's message ends and deletes itself.
