Naked Gun

A gun without an ID check system. Any weapon made before the creation of the SOP System that has not been recovered. Since the introduction of the Sons of the Patriots System, all weapons operate on an ID check through the weapon's ID chip and the operator's nanomachines. This prevents a non-registered person from using an ID-tagged weapon. For this reason, local militias and smaller PMCs use older weapons from before SOP. These guns, which can be used by anyone, have been dubbed "naked guns".
