Emma's Parrot

The parrot kept as a pet by Emma Emmerich. It was her one and only friend, helping to ease her loneliness. She named it Otacon.

It is the same breed as the parrot The End kept in the 1960s. Large parrots can live anywhere from 50 to 100 years. It is not clear whether Emma's and The End's parrots were in fact the same bird.

The End's parrot can be shot and killed, but the parrot in the Big Shell is shielded by the same electromagnetic weapon that protects Fortune, rendering all attacks futile.
