Outer Heaven

Armed stronghold of a mercenary dispatch company. Soldiers' paradise established in the 1990s near Galzburg, South Africa. Gathering place for the world's foremost mercenaries, such as Shotmaker, Machinegun Kid, Bloody Brad, Fire Trooper, and Dirty Duck. Dispatches arms and mercenaries to battlegrounds throughout the world with the intent to control wars. Persuaded the scientist, Dr. Drago Pettrovich Madnar, and commenced working on the development of a Metal Gear nuclear-armed bipedal tank.

With the "Outer Heaven Uprising" in 1995, Solid Snake infiltrated the stronghold and destroyed the Metal Gear. Outer Heaven's collapse was brought about by a major earthquake which hit the Republic of South Africa at the moment of the weapon's destruction.
