Zanzibar Tawny Owl
01
A genetically modified creature that lives only in Zanzibarland.
The Zanzibar Tawny Owl has a total body length of 20cm and is only found in Central Asia. It lays eggs white in color every two to seven days, and only the female of the species incubates them. Its eggs hatch within several days due to genetic modification.
Like most owls, this species is nocturnal, and it is said that in Zanzibarland, they are used as a sort of timekeeper because they begin hooting at regular intervals after sunset.
