Military Regime
01
A political administration in which servicemen at the top-level of the armed forces rule the country and have control over the government, lawmaking, and administration of justice. A country in which civilians have been ousted by military force, and ruled by a military regime is called a garrison state.
In 1999, in the small central Asian country of Zanzibarland, a military regime was established with a coup by the military. The regime employed a mercenary unit with Big Boss at its center, and engaged in acts of terrorism throughout the world. Later, this developed into the "Zanzibarland Disturbance".
