Clearing

01

Clearing of a room, furniture, or other danger area containing, or thought to contain, enemy soldiers. Performed by applying several close quarters battle (CQB) techniques.

There are two methods of entry used during clearing. One is dynamic entry in which an entry team bursts into an area using speed and surprise to overwhelm the enemy. The other is stealth entry in which the team quietly sneaks into an area, locates the opposition, and takes control of a situation.
