Bipedal Walking Tank

A tank that moves by walking on two legs. This concept, conceived by Granin, would later evolve into Metal Gear.

The Soviets needed an efficient way to traverse the hills, swamps, and other rough terrain found in the West. They experimented with eight-axle tractor trucks and a number of other different methods. One such method was bipedal walking.
